Defending your castle is simpler than history might have you believe. Simply position your mouse over an enemy troop and use the left-mouse button to pick him up. Make a throwing motion with the mouse, releasing the button to fling your unfortunate victim through the air.
During nightfall, you will have the opportunity to upgrade your castle.
Repair Damage: Fix damage incurred to your castle
Upgrade Walls: Increase the ability of your castle to withstand the onslaught
Temple: With this upgrade, you can drop enemy units (gently) into your castle to convert them to your side. These converts can be trained or deployed as kamikazee units after
purchasing the proper upgrades.
Archery Range: Allows you to train archers to defend your castle automatically. Click on the red flag that appears to train an archer. Each archer represents the percent chance of an enemy being shot and killed when they appear on screen.
Workshop: Allows you to train craftsmen to repair your castle automatically. Click on the green flag to create more repairmen. The more you have, the faster the repairs occur.
Mana Pool: Allows you to train wizards to use powerful spells. The more wizards you train, the higher your level of magic and the more magic you have. For example, level one allows you to kill a single unity by just clicking on them, level kills all units within the blast radius of a selected target, etc.
Demolition Lab: Allows you to deploy kamikazee units by clicking the convert icons below your castle hitpoints. Click the unit to detonate.
Unit Upkeep Note: The archers, wizards, and craftsman each require a different amount of upkeep per turn. If you are unable to pay the upkeep, they will be killed. Make sure you keep enough money leftover per turn in order to pay upkeep, or be sure you will make enough during the game to pay for them at the end of each day.

Remember, if your castle falls, you will die a horrible, roasty death at the hands of the barbarians!
